Terms of use
These terms apply to the Sharanam app ("Sharanam", "the app", "we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use Sharanam
You must be 18 or older to use the app and to buy a subscription.
2. What Sharanam is
Sharanam offers devotional audio: mantras, chants and guided bhakti programs. Some audios are free. Others need a Sharanam Premium subscription. The narration and recitations are produced with AI voice technology, based on texts from the Shiv bhakti tradition.
Sharanam is a devotional and relaxation app. It is not a medical, psychological or therapy service, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If you have a health concern, please see a qualified professional.
3. Subscription
Sharanam Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play. Prices, renewal, cancellation and refunds are explained on the Subscription and cancellation page, which is part of these terms. Purchases are also covered by the Google Play Terms of Service.
4. Your use of the content
- The audio, text and artwork in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may listen to them in the app for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- Do not copy, record, redistribute, sell or publicly perform the content, and do not try to get around the subscription, for example by extracting audio files.
- Do not use the app in a way that breaks the law or harms the service or other people.
5. Changes to the app and content
We may add, change or remove audios and features over time. We aim to keep the app available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions, for example when your internet connection or our content server is down.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
7. Privacy
How the app handles information is described in the privacy policy.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
